Fagus Lodge is an excellent recipe for a perfect holiday. From the warm welcome by Andrew and the personalised complimentary wine and conserve to the sad goodbye to this beautiful and relaxing place. Despite the forecasts we enjoyed mild and pleasant weather, with some cracking days which allowed us walking to Loch Morar in full sunshine and spending an afternoon just in shorts and T-shirts on the tranquil and beautiful sandy beach at Rhu....Family from – Edinburgh.

We have had a lovely week at Fagus Lodge, yet again! our third stay. Mixed weather, have walked, fished, played golf and had a totally relaxing time. What a shame we have to go home. Thanks again Andrew for the hospitality and wonderful accommodation....Chris & Janice - Durham.

What a fabulous week.  The weather was “the best” and the cottage was wonderful.  The wine and marmalade were a lovely surprise.  Will definitely be back – brought back very happy memories of boyhood holidays for my husband.  The walk to the loch is stunning!! (From a younger member of the family – I had a great time, my room was beautiful)....Family from Glasgow.
