First class accommodation, everything to hand. Nice having somewhere properly heated. The location is superb. Some nice touches on arrival; would recommend to anyone. Diving is good....Yorkshire divers.
We would like to say that the accommodation was great. The tennis court and table tennis provided a lot of entertainment and the scenery was beautiful; we would recommend to a friend....Family from Yorkshire.
A lovely home away from home. Thank you for all your kindnesses. This is a wonderful corner of the world – we may well return....Family from California, U.S.A.
Fabulous from start to finish. Great house for entertaining. Wonderful beaches (the water’s a bit cold!) If you can hit a ball at all, you must play the 9-hole course – best views of any course – anywhere....Gordon & Michele - Southport.
Another great week at Arisaig. Weather variable, but didn’t spoil our visit. Extremely comfortable warm house to retreat to when the rains came. A good run of hot sunny days. Probably the best accommodation in South Morar!! Girls loved games room, stony beach and rock pools, deer, walks. Recommend: Armadale Castle gardens, Skye (leave car at Mallaig), Castle Tioram (enchanting ruin), Loch Morar, stroll to Druimindarroch on a clear evening. Take a torch for Charlie’s Cave – tricky to find, but impressive....Alan & Debbie and Doug & Pam - Australia/Glasgow.
Thanks so very much for your wonderful hospitality. Your house and grounds are beautiful and hopefully we can visit again when your gardens are in bloom. Thanks for the wine, was so good, and for the jams. Scotland has been the best trip we have had, the land is too beautiful to explain or describe, glad we took lots of pictures. The people we have talked to were so friendly like we expected. There is no place like home, but I think we would make this our second home. Good luck always....Jan & Wes Johnson. – U.S.A.
Loved the cottage, the house, the gardens, the location and the area. A great time – but too short....Peter & Elspeth.
We visited the three islands, Muck, Eigg & Rum, liking them in that order of preference. Played golf at Traigh and found that course more challenging than St. Andrews ones! Excellent self-catering and the weather mixed, sunshine and lots of rain, but the sun shone mainly at the right time!....D. & M. Mottashaw.
Had an absolutely wonderful stay. The area was beautiful and had hardly changed since I was last here some 21 years ago. The house and gardens are idyllic and we would recommend a walk down to the beach next to the cave / fort. Many thanks for an incredibly relaxing and memorable few days!....Pete & Elaine.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on your beautiful estate. We felt so much at home in the Gardener’s Cottage having been travelling for the past five weeks; the cottage was comfy, clean and well-furnished. Last, but not least, the wine and preserves were delicious. Thank you soooo much!....Rose & Ian – Canada.
